Tender, flavorful, and juicy, it’s an absolute delight, especially when paired with a gooey soft-boiled egg. Trust me, it’s even better than what you get at Yoshinoya! And the best part? It’s simple to make.
Ingredients:
- Wagyu beef: 200g
- Onion: half
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Cooking wine: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: to taste
- Sugar: to taste
- Dark soy sauce: 1/2 tablespoon
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
- Egg: 1
Instructions: 💞💞 Let’s dig in while it’s hot! Mix the rich sauce with rice, add the generous Wagyu slices, and enjoy the deliciousness. Absolutely perfect!
- Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, a pinch of salt and sugar, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and half a bowl of water. Stir well and set aside.
- Blanch the Wagyu beef in boiling water until it changes color. Remove from the water. Heat oil in a pan, sauté thinly sliced onions until softened, add the Wagyu beef, and pour in the sauce. Stir-fry until the sauce thickens.
- Fry a soft-boiled egg and serve it with the Wagyu beef over rice. Sprinkle with a little black sesame, and you’re ready to enjoy your perfect Japanese Wagyu rice bowl!
