Ingredients:

  • Hawthorn: 500 grams
  • White vinegar: 6 grams
  • Water: 130 grams
  • Granulated sugar: 250 grams

Instructions:

  1. Use small hawthorns for this recipe.
  2. Prepare the ingredients.
  3. Rinse the hawthorns with clean water, remove the stems, and drain excess water or air-dry. (Make sure the surface of the hawthorns is completely dry.)
  4. Heat a pan over low heat, add water.
  5. Add white granulated sugar.
  6. Stir continuously with a spatula.
  7. Keep stirring to prevent sticking to the pan. Ensure the sugar completely dissolves, and then large bubbles start forming in the center.
  8. Continue low heat, keep stirring. Once the sugar is completely melted, and large bubbles appear in the middle, proceed to the next step.
  9. Maintain low heat, keep stirring, and small bubbles will form around the edges.
  10. Eventually, the bubbles in the center will become smaller.
  11. The entire pan will be filled with tiny bubbles.
  12. Immediately pour in the white vinegar, then turn off the heat. Stir and let it cool for a while.
  13. Add the prepared hawthorns.
  14. Stir-fry; initially, it will be sticky due to the sugar syrup.
  15. As you continue, it will turn white.
  16. Keep stirring until it becomes sandy.
  17. They are now ready to be enjoyed!

Super delicious!
